Admin Trainee

We are looking to recruit an Admin Trainee to our office based in Airdrie. The role is a junior admin role where you will work alongside and support our admin team. The hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and will be based in our Airdrie office. On successful completion of a probationary period there will be opportunities to progress in further training.

The ideal candidate should have the following:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A desire to learn and progress
  • A fast learner
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • Problem Solving skills
  • A polite but confident telephone manner
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative and as part of a team

The main duties of the role will include:

  • Oversee running the front desk and reception area
  • Answering Customer and Client Calls and directing them as required
  • Replying to emails
  • Supporting other Admin team members
  • Filling and Scanning of Documents
  • Data Entry
  • Stock control of Office Supplies
  • Posts, banking, errands duties
  • Other ad-hoc admin duties as required
